Finalist in the 2010 Full Circle design competition.
The brief from Full Circle was to design a sustainable bin and recycling system. In-depth research into sustainable manufacturing technologies was required, interpreting the brand's style guide and executing CAD for manufacture. My design utilised hidden magnets to connect the bins. Enabled users could configure their recycling system to what suited their context. With Asia as the target market, space-saving was a significant factor in the design. I gained valuable experience in design for manufacture; industrial design; product ergonomics; plastics and silicon manufacture and Asian context consideration.
